Nationwide warning day on 12.09.2024

Every year on the second Thursday in September, the nationwide warning day takes place – a joint day of action by the federal, state and local authorities. It is intended to test the warning systems and provide the public with knowledge on the subject of warnings. Experience shows that people can react better in an emergency if they are familiar with the warning procedures. A test warning in the form of a warning text will be sent to all warning multipliers (e.g. radio stations and app servers) connected to the Modular Warning System (MoWaS for short) of the federal government from 11:00 a.m. on 12.09.2024.
