1st and 2nd place at the pro agro MARKETING PRIZE 2024 in the "Rural & Nature Tourism" category
"Slow trips in the lake district - time for the land and its people" by Seenland Oder-Spree e.V. took 1st place. Participants should and may take time for the country and its people during slow trips. They are invited to slow down and have the opportunity to get to know typical regional products and special craftsmanship in order to return home richer in experience and with special memories.
Second place went to the RGV Schlaube Oderland e.V. with the new Oder ferry connection Aurith-Urad. With its purely touristic orientation, it is an alternative to the city bridge in Frankfurt (Oder). For the first time since 1945, it offers the opportunity to cross the Oder between Frankfurt (Oder) and Coschen and represents a milestone in the regional tourism development of the Oderland.

After the Oderbruch was drained from the 18th century onwards, it developed into one of the most interesting small landscapes in Europe. Not for nothing was the Oderbruch 2022 as the first cultural landscape awarded the European Heritage Label.The ideals and history of the EU are symbolized here in a special way.
Cultivated & relaxed
The Neuzelle Monastery, the baroque wonder of Brandenburg, which impresses with its unique architecture, embeds itself as if painted in the idyllic landscape and offers a wide view over the Oder meadows. The monastery complex is one of the few completely preserved in Europe.
