The Theater Das Letzte Kleinod and the Kleist Forum are bringing the "HOTEL EINHEIT" back to life in this year's summer production and taking the audience on a journey back in time to the heyday of one of the best theaters in Frankfurt (Oder). The open-air theater can be seen from August 8 to 11 on the railroad grounds on Fürstenwalder Straße/August-Bebel-Straße.

In accordance with Section 35 of the Brandenburg Nature Conservation Implementation Act, the Nature Conservation Advisory Board at the lower nature conservation authority of the city of Frankfurt (Oder) is to be filled for the term of office from 2025 to 2029 in order to represent the interests of nature conservation and landscape management as well as to provide scientific and expert advice. Interested citizens have until August 23, 2024 to apply for voluntary work on the nature conservation advisory board.

Once a year, students from the European University Viadrina take over the garden of the Kleist Museum with the He(a)ring and offer a diverse range of music, poetry slams and workshops on the weekend of the "Bunter Hering" city festival. From Friday, July 12, to Sunday, July 14, the focus will be on female talent from all over the world, in keeping with the museum's current special exhibition on the famous Frankfurt writer Ulrike von Kleist. From a drumming and dance workshop to a set by the oldest Polish DJ and poetry slam, there is something for everyone.

The "Protection of company values through post-contractual non-compete clauses" is the focus of the 24th Frankfurt (Oder) local conference of the German Labor Court Association, which will take place on Thursday, July 11 at 5:15 p.m. in the Senate Hall, Room 109 of the European University Viadrina.

On Thursday, July 11, 2024, the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) will ceremoniously open the KIU from 4:00 p.m. The opening will begin with speeches and a panel discussion in the Logensaal of the Viadrina, Logenstraße 11. After an official reception, the opening of the KIU will be celebrated with a concert by the celebrated jazz singer Ganna Gryniva and her GANNA Ensemble from 8:00 p.m. Anyone interested can attend the concert at Stuck, Lindenstraße 7, free of charge and without registration.

On Wednesday, July 10, historian Prof. Dr. Jan Musekamp will be presenting his book "Shifting Lines, Entangled Borderlands. Mobilities and Migration on the Royal Prussian Eastern Railway" at the Ulrich von Hutten bookshop at Logenstraße 8 in Frankfurt (Oder).

The 43rd International ESP e-Tronic Oder Tour will take place from 11 July to 14 July 2024, organized by the Frankfurt Cycling Club 90. The highlight of Brandenburg's cycling calendar is the largest road race in the state and attracts guests from all over the world. With a route through the beautiful landscapes of Brandenburg, the event offers both riders and fans breathtaking views and exciting moments.

On July 13 and 14, 2024, the Hanseatic City Festival "Bunter Hering" on the Holzmarkt will be enriched by historical play scenes that shed light on the life of the preacher Thomas Müntzer. Thomas Müntzer was a leading preacher in the Peasants' War of 1524/1525 and an important representative of the Renaissance and Reformation. The historical play scenes offer guests of the HanseStadtFest an impressive journey into the past.

As part of the HanseStadtFestival "Bunter Hering", guided tours of the renovated town hall, Marktplatz 1, will be offered on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14, 2024 – in accordance with the expert approvals granted up to this point. On both days, two simultaneous guided tours of a maximum of 60 minutes will take place at 10.00 a.m., 12.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. Guided tours are offered for Polish-speaking visitors at the following times: Saturday and Sunday, at 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. respectively.

The AGRARGENOSSENSCHAFT NEUZELLE, an agricultural enterprise equipped with state-of-the-art technology and "scattered" across 18 municipalities and 13 locations in south-east Brandenburg, was awarded the pro agro Marketing Prize 2024 in the direct marketing category. As active cooperative members, the more than 60 families rely on closed cycles as a quality feature.
