About the DAAD Award for International Students
International students make up around 40 percent of the student body at the European University Viadrina and enrich the university community in many ways. In order to recognize this appropriately, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has once again provided Viadrina with an award for international students this year. The DAAD prize is intended to recognize outstanding international students at German universities who also complete their degree there. The prerequisite for the award is that they have distinguished themselves through special academic achievements as well as remarkable social or intercultural commitment. The award winner is selected by an award committee after the official application process.
In 2025, the DAAD will celebrate its 100th anniversary and "100 years of change through exchange".
