IHK Ostbrandenburg honors 30 top young professionals as the best
30 graduates were honored for their outstanding achievements as the best in dual training at a ceremony in Neuhardenberg Castle on 13 November. All of them completed their exams with at least 92 out of 100 points and thus achieved the grade "very good".
In his words to the honorees, Hans-Peter Thierfeld, Vice-President of IHK Ostbrandenburg, praised their ambition: "Behind you lie months of work, learning, practice and certainly also moments when you thought: 'This will be close. Today you have proven that achievement pays off. You have shown that success is not a matter of luck, but the result of commitment, interest and a clear goal. I am sure that many of you will continue on your path with the same determination."
With a view to the challenges on the job market, Thierfeld encouraged the young top graduates to take on responsibility and continue their careers in the region: "Good specialists are needed everywhere – especially here in East Brandenburg. If you remain open and curious, there are many paths open to you."
Among those honored are 27 trainees and 3 retrainees. Particularly noteworthy are two national best performers who have also shown outstanding performance at national level. One of them is Sebastian-André Zander, a skilled finishing worker at Schönherr + Fritsch Bau GmbH.

Elisa Karlotta Beckmann, industrial ceramist in model technology at GOLEM - Kunst und Baukeramik GmbH, is the best in Germany and also the best graduate in the entire East Brandenburg chamber district with 97 points.
"This is a great success – for you personally, for your companies and for our region. We can all be proud of this," said Thierfeld.
In addition, 23 companies were honored for their outstanding training quality. These companies make a significant contribution to securing skilled workers and show how important it is to invest in training. "Training is not a side issue, it is a real task for the future. And you take responsibility where others sometimes hesitate," said Hans-Peter Thierfeld, thanking the companies.
A total of 1,356 young people successfully completed their training in East Brandenburg in 2025 and 75 retrainees passed their exams. These figures show that dual training continues to be a valuable prospect for young people and an important pillar for the regional economy.
The IHK Ostbrandenburg is the largest representative body for the economy between Schwedt and Eisenhüttenstadt, between Berlin and the Oder river.
