The Theater des Lachens tells the humorous and imaginative story of a hungry fox and a clever goose that stubbornly refuses to serve as a Christmas roast in this year's Christmas tale. "A Goose's Special Christmas" premieres on December 8 at 3 pm on the studio stage in the Kleist Forum. The following week, it will be shown in the morning program for nursery and school children.

The members of Mittlere Oder e.V., the German supporting association of the PRO EUROPA VIADRINA Euroregion, met on 22.11.2024 at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) for the ordinary general meeting. On Thursday, December 5, 2024, starting at 2 p.m., a commemorative event will take place to mark the "occupation" of the secret service headquarters in Frankfurt (Oder) 35 years ago. In 1989, citizens gathered in front of the Frankfurt district administration of the Ministry for State Security (MfS) in what was then Otto-Grotewohl-Straße. They demanded access to the building and the detention center as well as an immediate stop to the destruction of files that had begun.
