The district of Märkisch Oderland has had its budget for 2025 approved by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government, subject to conditions. Alderman and treasurer, Rainer Schinkel, explains the implications.

On Sunday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the traditional Nature Park Farm Festival will take place at Burg Storkow. Around 45 traders and 15 food stalls will be offering products from Brandenburg and various delicacies at the regional market.
