The German-Polish Tourist Information Office in Frankfurt (Oder) has once again been awarded the i-Mark by the German Tourism Association (DTV). With the signing by Kamila Szwajkowska, Managing Director of the Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZIPH) in Gorzów Wielkopolski, the "Cross-border Appeal of the Economy" is now officially supported by a total of four partners. Commercial rent: Participate and benefit

IHK Ostbrandenburg is collecting data for the new rent index until the end of August – craft businesses are also invited to take part: The East Brandenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is currently updating the rent index for commercial properties and is asking companies to take part in the data collection by means of an anonymous survey. In addition to IHK companies, the call is also aimed specifically at craft businesses that use production, storage or office space.

Viadrina hosts the Viadrinicum summer school for the 11th time

What do upheavals do to a city and how can futures be shaped? Researchers, artists and activists will come together from Monday, August 18 for the two-week Viadrinicum summer school at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). In several workshops, the participants will explore the twin city and develop their own projects and ideas from a documentary and urban planning perspective. The public is also invited to help shape several events.

West Side Story and sibling couples at "Classics without borders" in Lennépark

With the melodies of the Oscar-winning "West Side Story", musical genius Leonard Bernstein is the focus of the concert on 9 August in Frankfurt's Lennépark. The following day at 11 a.m., Anouchka and Katharina Hack will play pieces by female composers on cello and piano. "All men become... sisters" is the title of their program, which ranges from Fanny Hensel to Alicia Keys.
