On Friday, March 8, 2024 at 3 p.m., the guided tour "Music History on Women's Day: Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach. Life, work and aftermath." will take place. Dr. Karl-Konrad Tschäpe will guide you through the Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach exhibition in the concert hall.

March 8, 2024 is not only International Women's Day, but also the 310th birthday of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. This will be taken as an opportunity to tour the world's only permanent exhibition on the composer, church musician and music theorist.

The second son of the world-famous Johann Sebastian Bach studied at Frankfurt Viadrina between 1734 and 1738 and had a lasting influence on musical life in the Oder city. You can also take a look at historical musical instruments from the Frankfurt Reka collection.

Participation fee: 4.00 euros/person, reduced 3.20 euros/person, children under 14 years 2.00 euros/person, children under six years free of charge
