In a warm-hearted and witty theatrical version, "Der kleine Muck" will tell the story of an outsider's search for happiness and the realization that true friendship is more important in life than money and fame on 20 January at 3 p.m. at the Kleist Forum. The play will also be shown on January 19 as a morning performance for school classes and daycare groups.

The European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is receiving around 700,000 euros from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to support its work in the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA). The funding is part of the national support program "European University Networks (EUN) – National Initiative" and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

As an amusing start to the new year, the Frankfurt Kleist Forum is showing the turbulent comedy "Pension Schöller" on January 13 and 14. The ensemble from Neue Bühne Senftenberg will put a strain on the audience's laugh muscles with this stage classic and show with relish how easily the line between normality and madness becomes blurred.

From Thursday, January 11 to Thursday, February 8, 2024, works from the Artothek will once again be on display in Gallery B of the Frankfurter Kunstverein. At the regional round of the 65th German Book Trade Reading Competition, the winners of the school competitions in Frankfurt (Oder) will once again be competing against each other. Pupils from year 6 at all elementary school will then present passages of text to a three-person jury.
