From Monday, September 2, 2024, the city of Frankfurt (Oder) will be taking part in this year's CITY CYCLING. Up to and including Sunday, 22 September, the aim is to cycle as much as possible in teams and collect kilometers for the city – whether on the way to work, school, shopping or in your free time.
The kick-off event will take place on 2 September at 4 p.m. on the market square. After a welcome address by the Mayor and Councillor for Order and Safety, Economy and Central Services Claus Junghanns and the Managing Director of StadtSportBund Frankfurt (Oder) e.V. Frederic-Marc Jürgensen, ADFC Frankfurt (Oder) e.V. will present some of the highlights of this year's tour plan.
Interested parties can register their participation in STADTRADELN online, form a team or join a team.
During the campaign period, every pedal stroke counts. With the free CITY CYCLING app, participants can track the distances cycled via GPS and credit them directly to their team and the city. In the results overview, you can see at a glance where your team and city stand in the ranking. The kilometers can be cycled and collected anywhere in the world.
