A bookshelf with trumpet books, which were very popular with children in GDR times, a seating area with a rocking chair and reading lamp, as well as exquisite book copies, guide interested visitors into the "Reading Land GDR". The exhibition tells of people who did not want to be dictated their reading and stood in line for rare books.

The Nature Conservation Advisory Council and the lower nature conservation authority of the city of Frankfurt (Oder) invite interested parties to an expert lecture on the topic of wild bees as part of the Nature Conservation Advisory Council meeting on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the town hall.

With the state initiative "My city of the future", the MIL wants to motivate all cities to think ahead, prepare and enrich a discussion about the future.
