The city of Frankfurt (Oder) traditionally organizes a special event for senior citizens in the run-up to Christmas – also to thank them for their life's work.

Under the motto "We are one big family", Frankfurt's senior citizens aged 65 and over are once again invited to an atmospheric get-together from 4 to 8 December this year. The events will take place from 2.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Exhibition Hall 4 and offer a sociable afternoon with coffee and cake, a show and dancing at the end. There will also be the opportunity to purchase Christmas arrangements and small gifts.

The city administration, charities, associations, numerous partners and volunteers are currently involved in preparing the program.

After the official welcome by a representative of the top management, presenter Detlef Olle will lead through the program "Ringing Christmas Greetings".

The program will feature US singer and entertainer Keith Tynes, once a member of the band The Platters, Germany's yodeling Japanese Takeo Ischi, juggling artist Bart Hoving from the Netherlands, the singing duo Sweet Harmony from the Brandenburg region, dancers from the stage dance school Vivadanca from Frankfurt (Oder) and the vocal band Petit Palais, who will play for dancing.
