The application phase for the Kleist Prize for New Drama 2025 is in full swing. Authors have until August 31 to submit their works for the award, which is being presented for the 30th time by the Kleiststadt Frankfurt (Oder), the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft and the Kleist Forum Frankfurt (Oder). For the first time, the age restriction has been lifted; previously, applicants could not be older than 35 at the closing date.

Does German employment law offer sufficient protection? For whom? And to what extent does it enable intersectional and systemic inequalities and injustices to be addressed? The new English-language discussion series "Law ǀ Works" by the Center for Interdisciplinary Labour Law Studies (C*LLaS) at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), which is being held in Berlin, is dedicated to these questions. On Children's Day, the dancers from the Ulrika Lang Ballet School impressively presented their skills in their annual public performance at Frankfurt's Kleist Forum.
