Until August 31, the railroad theater Das Letzte Kleinod is taking a journey back in time with "JACQUELINE" to the school days and growing up of young people in the GDR. Before the performance on Sunday, August 10, the team around director Jens-Erwin Siemssen invites you to a discussion with contemporary witnesses. The meeting point is at 6:30 p.m. in the schoolyard of the former polytechnic secondary school at Bischofstraße 10 in Frankfurt.
Moderated by dramaturge Juliane Lenssen, two contemporary witnesses will talk about their experiences in this special place. In addition, everyone is invited to share their memories of their own school days. The talk can be attended free of charge and independently of the subsequent performance - or it offers an ideal opportunity to spontaneously purchase tickets for the performance afterwards.
Based on personal memories, "JACQUELINE" tells a piece of the life story of young people in the last decade of the GDR every day from Tuesday to Sunday as a station theater in the empty school building.
