In the 50th volume of the Viadrina publication series "Mediation and Conflict Management", Claudia Schymik analyzes the challenges a works council faces when internal conflicts threaten to block the committee.

A delegation visited the Polish city of Gorzów Wielkopolski and met with colleagues from the control centre of the administrative district of Lubusz, the city guard number 2 and the commandant's office of the state fire brigade in order to deepen the cross-border work of the emergency services between Poland and Germany.
