Thierbachshof presented a donation of 150 euros to the Steinhöfel youth fire department as part of its atmospheric Christmas market last Sunday. With this gesture, operators Anne-Kathrin Kuhlemann and Markus Haastert thanked the young firefighters for their exemplary commitment, especially in the area of recruiting young people for the indispensable tasks of the volunteer fire department.

In the "Our village has a future" competition, "Kummse", as Kummersdorf is affectionately known, took first place for the Oder-Spree district and was awarded the title at district level on December 3, 2024 at Beeskow Castle.

Artists can currently register until Tuesday, December 17 for the Open Studios on the first weekend in May (May 3 and 4, 2025) to open their studios or take part in the joint exhibition. The members of Mittlere Oder e.V., the German supporting association of the PRO EUROPA VIADRINA Euroregion, met on 22.11.2024 at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) for the ordinary general meeting. In addition to the annual financial statements for the previous years, the work and budget plan for 2025 was also discussed and approved.
