On 29 November 2022, the yearbook of the district Märkisch-Oderland was presented in the castle Trebnitz to the authors and all contributors. The now already 30th volume is an anniversary edition of the traditional series of publications of the county.

The yearbook is again this year full of exciting and entertaining discoveries from our region.
From natural history, to archaeological, to cultural and social topics, everything is represented. In addition to the veteran storytellers, some new authors and authors could be added, so that in the end again a very versatile and readable yearbook has been created.

.

The 26 contributions of the yearbook were written by numerous well-known and also some new authors and authors. The direction over the editorship collegium took over with Corinna Görner, the chief of the specialized service education and culture of the circle administration. Further Horst and Thomas Drewing, Dr. Reinhard Schmook, Doris Steinkraus, Regina Tismer Benthin and Stephan Fröhlich belonged to the internal editorial board.

.

"In more distant times, these yearbooks will be a source of what makes this county tick, how it has developed over the decades, and how people have lived here," Dr. Reinhard Schmook reported on the relevance of the yearbook in his article outlining its history.
Special thanks to the foundation of the Sparkasse Märkisch-Oderland, which made the printing of 450 copies possible with a grant.

The yearbook can be purchased immediately for 8 euros in regional bookstores such as in Bad Freienwalde, in Strausberg, in Rüdersdorf, in Neuenhagen near Berlin, as well as in the tourist information offices. If an edition from the last 30 years should have been missing no problem, older copies are available in the specialized service education and culture of the district administration and/or also with the dealers still in small existence.
