Literature and virtual reality: On Monday, September 16, 2024 at 6.30 p.m., the Frankfurt (Oder) City and Regional Library will open the exhibition "Inherited, idolized, forgotten? On the significance and communication of literature as cultural heritage" opens. The special feature: The exhibition can only be experienced using VR (virtual reality) glasses.

The exhibition organizers will be present at the vernissage and will give an introduction to the exhibition.

In addition, Volker Weidermann, literary critic and television presenter, will be in conversation with journalist Boris Kruse about the significance of literature and literary heritage.

Admission to the vernissage is free of charge. Reservations are accepted by the library.

The exhibition can be viewed afterwards until October 14, 2024 during library opening hours.
