This year's STADTRADELN in Frankfurt (Oder) has come to a successful end. From September 8 to 28, 39 teams with a total of 500 cyclists actively participated. Together, they cycled 91,088 kilometers – and thus avoided 14 tons of CO₂ emissions.
The participants contributed to the overall performance with a great deal of commitment and creativity. The three most active teams - measured in terms of kilometers cycled – were Team ADFC with 10,253 km, Team Honda-Bohlig (9,150 km) and the team from the European University Viadrina (8,158 km).
"STADTRADELN 2025 has shown how much potential there is in cycling – and how many people are willing to actively contribute to climate protection," said Mayor Claus Junghanns.
The city is also continuing to promote cycling outside of the competition. The improvement of the cycling infrastructure will therefore be further accelerated in the coming years.
