Many training companies offer you the opportunity to find out about training and dual study opportunities in our region and to try them out in practice. Your parents and grandparents are also very welcome to accompany you!
The organizers are already looking forward to a wide variety of interesting exhibitors!
On Saturday, 30 November 2024, the city of Frankfurt (Oder), together with the Employment Agency, the Chamber of Crafts, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency, invites you to this year's Frankfurt (Oder) Training Fair. From 10:00 to 15:00, visitors to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds can obtain comprehensive information about a wide range of training and career opportunities.
More than 100 companies from the region will be presenting a wide range of innovative professions, traditional trades and exciting career paths at the hands-on fair. Each company will provide insights into everyday working life and offer interactive hands-on activities where young people and interested parties can experience professions up close and try them out for themselves.
Mayor Claus Junghanns: "I am delighted that so many companies and institutions are once again taking the opportunity to present themselves at our training fair this year. Among the target group, the young people in Frankfurt (Oder) and the Oderland-Spree region, I am noticing a growing interest in apprenticeships in our region, which speaks for the quality of the apprenticeships. Together with our partners, we have developed the format of a hands-on fair, which has now proved its worth for the third time. This can be seen, on the one hand, in the continuously increasing number of companies that are actively participating and, on the other, in the increased interest shown by young people. I'm looking forward to the fair and the opportunity to talk to the exhibitors and visitors."
The special thing about this hands-on fair is already in the name: Each company presents its very practical day-to-day work as an activity to try out and take part in, providing a realistic insight into the respective working day. This gives interested parties the opportunity to try things out, discover their own talents and find the right career. This makes the fair ideal for young people, parents and anyone who wants to plan their professional future and offers an ideal opportunity to make initial contacts for their professional future. Based on the experience of previous years, the organizers have once again developed new activities and formats that visitors can look forward to this year.
For example, the "Chill-Out-Area" of Frankfurt City Marketing is new, where visitors can take a short break with a hot drink between visits to the stand and also have the chance to talk to management and trainers from the region. Professional application photos can also be taken at Stadtmarketing and taken away digitally. Another highlight in the "chill-out area" is an AI photo box, which provides support in choosing the right profession and suggests suitable ones from 126 training and study professions.
The training fair offers young people, parents and all interested parties an ideal opportunity to find out about training opportunities directly on site, discover occupational fields and make initial contacts for their professional future.
