On September 13, 2025, there will be a special format in the Horse Country Brandenburg: Join stakeholders from equestrian businesses, politics, society and tourism on a journey: on foot, on horseback and by carriage.

The aim is to make the horse more visible as part of our rural environment and to start a conversation, literally, step by step, under the motto "We are on our way".

In moderated groups, there will be discussions along a section of the Brandenburg Way of St. James on key questions:

  • How can the horse be anchored more firmly in society again?
  • What role does it play in tourism, education and health?
  • And how can the realities of life on horse farms be made more politically visible?

The event is a joint initiative of the Pferdeland Brandenburg project (pro agro e. V.) and the Mut der Strecke Brandenburg.V.) and Mut zur Strecke GmbH, which recently took over the Junkbrunnen horse farm in Rehfelde.

The initiative would like to document the collected thoughts and impulses and pass them on as a political signal.

You are cordially invited to attend. Make sound bites, take pictures and join the conversation.
