The Oder Bridge of the Ostbahn is the winner of the 2025 German Bridge Construction Award in the category "Road and Railway Bridges"

According to Frank Schütz, Managing Director of Interessengemeinschaft Ostbahn e.V., it is "... a special recognition for the construction of the important bridge over the Oder of the Ostbahn to line 203." We wholeheartedly agree.
The jury's verdict:
The Küstrin Oder Bridge is not only an engineering masterpiece, but also economically viable and forward-looking in terms of sustainability. The innovative construction method is suitable for large spans and ensures high durability with great lightness and efficiency. The new building is modern, impressively elegant and yet highly efficient. Trains can now pass the structure at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour.
The design quality and technical innovation make the Oder Bridge Küstrin a shining white landmark in the river landscape, which impressively demonstrates how Europe is growing together. The jury has therefore awarded the German Bridge Construction Prize 2025 to the Küstrin Oder Bridge.
