Concept development and establishment of dementia counseling

The state government is continuing the "Pact for Care" until 30.06.2027, which consists of various pillars: Expansion of care advice, expansion of the care provision structure and securing skilled workers. The pact aims to strengthen and sustainably shape local care, provide relief for those in need of care and their relatives, particularly in rural areas, expand advisory structures and promote the recruitment of skilled workers in the care sector through attractive training and employment conditions.

The aim is to enable people in the state of Brandenburg to lead as self-determined a life as possible into old age and participate in society, even if they are in need of care, by providing a wide range of flexible services and assistance. The Pact for Care aims to improve the conditions for this and expand existing structures. People in need of care and their relatives are to be accompanied, supported and relieved, for example, when coping with dementia.

The Pact for Care consists of several pillars. The expression of interest relates to the funding program for municipal care policy measures - local care for the development and expansion of suitable advisory structures in the municipality and should include the concept development and establishment of a dementia advice centre for the city of Frankfurt (Oder).

Detailed information on the expression of interest procedure can be viewed online at Local Care (Municipality) / Frankfurt (Oder). For individual information, please contact Eileen Schuflitz (Office for Youth and Social Affairs) by telephone on 0335 552-5102.
