Poetry slam master David Friedrich rhymes and performs on October 7 at 7:30 pm in Frankfurt's Kleist Forum about the beauty and adversity of life. His monologue "tape - soundtrack of a repair" moves thereby between laughter and brooding, depression and hope, is entertaining, poignant, brutally honest and a completely new form of theater.

The poetry slammer questions the modern doomsday scenarios, comments smugly media scaremongering and gives very intimate insights into his personal disasters. Yet he is not pessimistic, but celebrates what holds this world together: The glue in the cracks of society, the gaffa tape for the insecure and confused, the repair of one's own psyche. And so "Klebeband," which celebrated its world premiere at the Kleist Festival 2022 under the title "APOCALYPPO," is a fast-paced mixture of comedy and spoken-word theater, accompanied by lots of live music.
