Christian Encounter Days – the Central European Kirchentag in Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice from June 7 to 9, 2024

The Christian Encounter Days, which are expected to attract up to 4,000 guests from neighbouring Central European countries and the national church, will focus on encounters between people from different churches and nations in the face of polarization and war in Europe. Among other things, there will be the debate "Peace yes, but how?" with Bishop Sándor Zán Fábián from Ukraine, Bishop Jerzy Samiec from Poland and Bishop Dr. Christian Stäblein from Berlin. With 150 events, the spiritual-theological program includes open-air church services, Bible studies, workshops and an extraordinarily diverse music, cultural and children's and youth program at various venues in the city centres.

Day tickets for Saturday are available at the CBT office in the pavilion on Brunnenplatz at the Oderturm and via the homepage Christian Encounter Days 2024 – An International Church Convention. On the weekend of the event, day tickets will be available at the information points Kleist-Forum, Frankfurt (Oder) railroad station and at the German-Polish Tourist Information Office, where guests will be welcomed and given assistance in finding their way around Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice.

All tickets include a public transport ticket for the Kirchentag area, catering and admission to all events. A day ticket for a single person costs 19 euros, for families 29 euros. 
Events on Friday and Sunday as well as the open-air events on Saturday are free of charge.

Accommodation must be booked in addition if required. Interested parties can find all the important information and booking options on the CBT website. Accommodation is still available in private and shared accommodation. All reserved hotel rooms are already fully booked.
