The exhibition HALBE STADTansichten on the building history of the former residential complex above the city center is to be seen since the beginning of May 2023 in the MehrGenerationenHaus MIKADO and is also accompanied in the second half of the month by events for residents and interested parties.

Friday, May 26 · from 3:00 p.m. | At the "Festival of Neighbors" at the MehrGenerationenHaus MIKDADO will be celebrated together and exchanged opinions and ideas regarding the residential area.
Tuesday, May 30, 2023 · 5:00 p.m. | During a tour with Mayor René Wilke, topics and challenges relevant to the HALBE STADT will be explained and discussed.Meeting point for the tour, which will be conducted with the Neighborhood Management and District Forum Mitte, is the MehrGenerationenHaus MIKDADO.
Tuesday, June 6 · 4:00 p.m. | In the course of a small tour will be decided on the final location for the stone sculpture "Mother and Child" by Roland Rother. In the exhibition HALBE STADTansichten in the MIKADO all visitors are invited to vote on a new location before.
The events are organized by the Institute for Applied History e.V.. The project is a cooperation between the Institute for Applied History e.V. and the Cultural Office Frankfurt (Oder). The project takes place within the framework of the theme year "Baukultur leben - Kulturland Brandenburg 2023". The events are sponsored by Democracy live!, the neighborhood management, the individual project funding and the Sparkasse Oder-Spree.
