The Civil Protection Network enables a comprehensive approach in crisis and disaster situations, supports the exchange of innovative ideas and promotes cohesion among civil protection stakeholders.

During crisis management, it is important to have an intensive exchange of ideas, to look at different ways of approaching the situation and to find out who is the responsible contact person in the respective municipalities. The network meeting offers local authorities, clinics and aid organizations a mutual exchange, creative food for thought and its further development, process optimization and supports the maintenance of contacts in order to prepare those involved for the major challenges. It is aimed at colleagues and colleagues from federal ministries, state ministries, senate administrations, counties, independent cities, districts, municipalities, clinics, fire departments, ASB, DRK, DLRG, JUH, Malteser, KID/NFS, THW, the German Armed Forces and the police.

The network meeting, which is supported by the German Federal Armed Forces and the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland, is dedicated to developing solutions to problems, exchanging ideas, knowledge and experience, providing support for and implementing complex tasks, learning about the services of others to avoid parallel activities or investments and sharing resources in various workshops.
