3rd Round Table "Sustainable Industrial Estates"

The third round table "Sustainable Industrial Estates" took place for the first time in one of the participating network municipalities.

Together in the municipality of Woltersdorf, the area around the industrial park at Berghofer Weg was visited. The municipality reported on the current situation, development approaches and measures, as well as existing challenges and planning obstacles that exist in connection with the industrial park. During the tour, the participants discussed possible development steps for the commercial areas and exchanged experiences with each other. In the final round of talks in Woltersdorf town hall, the topics of renewable energies (PV), water, and compensation and replacement measures were particularly discussed and the desire was expressed to take a closer look at the handling of these issues under planning law in future rounds.
