Still until Tuesday, November 21, 2023, the exhibitions "HALBE STADTansichen" and "To make art a plate" can be seen in the St. Marienkirche.

The exhibitions show the different facets of Frankfurt's urban development. The exhibition part "HALBE STADTansichten" is dedicated to the construction history of the residential area Halbe Stadt. The exhibition part "Um Kunst eine Platte machen", already designed in 2021, focuses on art in public space as a central aspect of Frankfurt's pedestrian zone Große Scharrnstraße.

Guided tours through both parts of the exhibition will contextualize the urban spaces that are significant in terms of building culture, as well as review Frankfurt's urban development in GDR times and its transformation.
