On Monday, October 16, 2023, the City and Regional Library Frankfurt (Oder) invites from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. to a storytelling evening "My Life Special" with two special guests.
On the one hand, the 100-year-old Gottfried Baldauf tells of how he went through the turmoil of the war and his memories of a time when still 12 hours a day was worked.
On the other hand, Eckart Brock, who was born in Namibia, talks about his years in Africa, his work as an administrator for multinational corporations and the European University Viadrina, and his life as a retiree in Frankfurt (Oder).
Admission to the event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
The evening is sponsored by the Cultural Office of the City of Frankfurt (Oder) as part of the project "Frankfurt (Oder) – Turning Point in My Life."
