On Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:30 a.m., Frankfurt photographer Hartmut Kelm will give an "Introduction to Photography" for children aged ten and over and interested adults at Museum Viadrina. The event is part of his exhibition "Frankfurter Unterwelten: Photographic Discoveries".
The basic principle of photography has not changed to this day: An image is projected through a hole (lens) onto the inner rear wall (film, sensor) of the darkened box (camera). Hartmut Kelm explains the history of photography to participants in theory and practice: from the camera obscura to today's digital camera.
Max. Number of participants: 12 people
Costs incl. admission 2.50 euros/person
On Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m., the event "Wat'n dat? – Kellerfunde gut erklärt" with Dr. Tim S. Müller and Dr. Sonja Michaels will follow. Interested parties can then experience how the age, origin and value of submitted cellar finds are determined using scientific methods.
Participation fee: 3.50 euros/person
