With his program "60,000 nautical miles" actor Hans-Martin Stier takes the audience on October 8 in Frankfurt's Kleist Forum on a journey into his past as a sailor in the 1960s.

Stier, known from "SOKO Cologne," "Hausmeister Krause" and the new season of "Babylon Berlin," tells of his life as a shipboy, sailor, boatman and helmsman, who not only traveled to countries such as Australia, Brazil and the Philippines, but earned them.

He recites self-experienced sailor's yarn with his own unmistakable timbre, about hard days at sea, but also about romantic love affairs on land. He also sings rock, blues and soul classics, accompanied by his band, the Shipping Company. An evening full of adventure and romance, which invites you to dream and which awakens a longing for the time when ships were still made of wood and sailors of steel.
