What will the agriculture of the future look like? The Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) will be providing answers to this question at the German Government’s Open Day on 20 and 21 June 2026 in Berlin. Visitors can find the ZALF at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Home Affairs (BMLEH), Wilhelmstraße 54, from 10 am to 6 pm on both days.

At the ZALF stand, visitors can experience agriculture first-hand: through the interactive game “Future Land”, guests can explore various future scenarios and discover how agriculture, biodiversity and climate protection are interconnected. The game challenges players to find the best strategy for tackling challenges such as climate change or biodiversity loss in order to steer a farm into the future.

The digi.farming.lab showcases innovative technologies for the agriculture of tomorrow. Here, visitors can take a virtual tour of a real-world laboratory featuring agri-photovoltaics and robotics.

Pop in and discover the agriculture of tomorrow with ZALF!
