Europäische Rechtsprechung bei der Digitalisierung

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) invites you to a workshop entitled "AI Act: What the EU AI Act means for companies". The event will take place from 16:00 to 17:30 in the Viadrina Lodge House, Room K 08, Logenstraße 11 in Frankfurt (Oder). The workshop will be led by Viadrina lawyer Prof. Dr. Philipp Hacker and is aimed at entrepreneurs who want to find out about the effects of the new EU directive on the use of artificial intelligence.

The new EU directive on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) brings important changes for companies. But what impact will the new legislation have in practice? The workshop gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to find out about the new requirements. Prof. Dr. Philipp Hacker will explain the legal and practical aspects of the regulation in an understandable way. The expert in digital law will also show how companies can implement the new requirements.

The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of the new regulations at an early stage and provide specific recommendations for action.

The event is organized by the Transfer Office of the European University Viadrina and supported by the European Regional Development Fund. Interested parties can register until March 26 by sending an email to info-transfer@europa-uni.de.
