This year's trainee photo competition organised by the Brandenburg Chambers of Industry and Commerce under the motto "Training. Passion. Me.", 81 photos were submitted from all over Brandenburg. The entries impressively show how diverse, practical and personal training is today. An online vote was held to select the best photos. The topic struck a chord: 8,000 votes were cast.
Now the winners have been announced: the trainees with the most popular photos will be honoured with prizes worth up to 150 euros for their creative and personal perspectives on their everyday training. The photos will also be published on the www.mach-es-in-brandenburg.de/fotochallenge website. They show the diversity of training in Brandenburg.
With the competition, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce are pursuing the goal of making training visible and offering young people a platform to show their everyday working life from their own perspective. At the same time, training companies are given the opportunity to showcase their commitment to securing skilled labour.
20-year-old Natalie Noack received the most votes across Brandenburg for her photo of her driving a bus. The junior driving specialist at Regionale Verkehrsgesellschaft Dahme-Spreewald mbH and trainer Christopher Roll are delighted with her top ranking. "We had been planning to take part for some time, we just had to find the right photo. So we took a short bus journey together. After countless attempts, we finally had the picture in the can, which we were both completely satisfied with. It shows how much Natalie loves her job and how much she enjoys doing it," says Christopher Roll. Proud winner Natalie Noack explains: "I've been eager to get my bus driving licence ever since I started my training. Not a day has gone by since I was allowed to drive that I haven't looked forward to being on duty. It's a great feeling to be on the road in this big vehicle as a young woman. The whole training programme is fun because it is very varied. I can therefore only recommend the apprenticeship and my training company."
