To kick off the new season, the team at the Frankfurt Kleist Forum is inviting its audience to a big theater festival with fascinating shows, violin virtuosos, fairy tales about the fox, a children's festival and a graffiti workshop with free admission. On September 14 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the entire house is open to all guests, big and small.

A surreal world is created in the hall, in which the Swedish high performance artists from Sirqus Alfon present a colorful and wild mixture of music, artistry, breakdancing, clowning and technical stage refinements. The result is a modern dream play with lasers, artificial intelligence and iPad magic, accompanied by punky electro-pop. Professor Bummbastic then demonstrates how entertaining science can be with spectacular experiments. Smoke rings fly through the air, clouds seemingly appear out of nowhere and laser beams make sounds. The stage show starts at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Fairytale time is at 14:15, 15:15 and 16:15 for everyone aged three and over. The actor Erik Schäffler tells and plays stories about the fox, which are about growing old and forgetting, but also about life in community.

In the studio stage, the Amore Twins take the audience into the magical world of classical and pop music with their violins. Expressive and full of energy, the world stars from Kyiv present a stunning string duet performance, accompanied by electronic sounds and light effects. It starts at 2:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m, and 4:15 p.m.

A coffee house atmosphere and live music invite you to linger in the foyer throughout the afternoon. The Bürgerbühne will be presenting its hands-on activities and taking a backstage tour through STUDIO B. There will also be a wheel of fortune with the chance to win great surprises, a painting and craft station and a photo box where you can take souvenir photos with costume pieces and props. Local talent will be performing in front of the building, there will be music and activities for children and a graffiti workshop, the results of which will adorn the Kleist Forum for a season.
