Oderland-Spree is not only home to two of the most important east-west corridors, but is also part of the Brandenburg-South-East Berlin development area.
From BER Airport via Tesla to ArcelorMittal, Yamaichi Electronics and CEMEX, heading towards the Ostbahn – the Oderland-Spree region is always an integral part of all of Brandenburg’s major economic areas.
For this reason, the region was also represented at the BRANDENBURG-SOUTH-EAST-BERLIN ECONOMIC AND LOCATION CONGRESS – the SO2026.
Decision-makers from business, politics, academia and public administration came together to discuss opportunities and sustainable strategies for a strong region and to expand their networks. There were fascinating insights into the economic significance of BER and the resulting need for action. In addition, companies from the region showcased their best-practice examples focusing on innovation and competitiveness.
