The Office for Youth and Social Affairs of the City of Frankfurt (Oder) is looking for the time from 01.01.2024 a free carrier of child and youth welfare, which would like to continue the offer of "early help".

Within the framework of this offer, the eligible measure of psychosocial support for families through specific offers of early help should continue to be implemented.

With the offer of early help, a consultative, accompanying and mediating approach for (expectant parents / families) is pursued, ie:

  • the offers are to be made known with a low-threshold access for families and to mediate their use actively
  • the services under consideration to promote healthy and safe growing up are to be introduced to families in a targeted manner
  • the process of the search of the suitable offer for the families is to be accompanied up to the participation motivating;
  • parental competence for the care and supervision of the child is promoted
  • The declared goal is to use in the future a team consisting of a family midwife and a socio-educational specialist or health specialist (eg, health and nursing, pediatric nurse) in tandem ("family support in tandem"). In the individual case work and in the group offers is so a targeted specialist use according to the respective professional expertise possible.

Requirements

It is a free carrier of child and youth welfare sought, which:

  • in the city of Frankfurt (Oder) offers of family support in accordance with SGB VIII carries out
  • willing to develop a professional offer under consideration of the use of professionals from the health as well as the socio-pedagogical field (tandem)
  • first ideas for the establishment of this tandem offer in the context of the expression of interest submitted
  • based on the offer of early help describes the future cooperation in the network "family support and early help"
  • explains the deployment of specialists within the service, the overall personnel management within the provider and the handling of further training and supervision
  • explains the cooperation with professionals of the public and the independent carrier
