The 2026 Metropolitan Region East Training Award has been launched. We are looking for committed trainees and training companies from the region. Many of you do outstanding training work every day. Make your commitment visible now with the training award and apply by 21 June 2026!
Who can take part?
- Training companies and trainees in the Metropolitan Region East.
The Metropolitan Region East includes the Berlin district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and the towns and municipalities in the district of Märkisch-Oderland: Hoppegarten, Neuenhagen bei Berlin, Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf, Petershagen/Eggersdorf, Altlandsberg and Strausberg as well as Ahrensfelde and Schöneiche bei Berlin in the neighbouring area. - All training companies that offer dual vocational training.
- All trainees who started or completed their training in the region in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Nominations by third parties (e.g. teachers, trainers, colleagues or network partners) are also expressly permitted.
What will be honoured?
The focus is not on fixed categories, but on the diversity of training activities:
- qualitative training structures and personal support
- innovative and future-orientated approaches
- social commitment and cooperation
- special achievements and developments of trainees
Decisive is, what makes training special in individual cases and what other companies and trainees can learn from it. Every story is welcome.
