"Sacristy and Martyr's Choir – a journey through 770 years of church history" is the name of a new special public tour that will be offered on Tuesday, February 3 and Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 2 p.m. in St. Mary's Church Frankfurt (Oder).
This tour will focus on the history of the south choir extension from the 13th to the 21st century. Participants will learn about coats of arms, stone heads, war destruction, the Reformation in Frankfurt (Oder) and the restoration workshop of the choir windows of St. Mary's.
The tour takes place with a minimum of five participants and is not suitable for people with limited mobility or young people under the age of 14. A maximum of 30 people can take part.
Tickets for 5.00 euros/person are only available on the day of the event in the St. Marien store. Reserved tickets must be collected and paid for between 11.00 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on the day of the tour. Otherwise the reservation expires 30 minutes before the start of the tour.
The church is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. during the low season. The offer is organized by the Kulturbüro Frankfurt (Oder). It is led by historian Henriette Brendler.
