With effect from June 1, 2023, the position of head of economic development in the city administration Frankfurt (Oder) is reoccupied with Sebastian Jungnickel.

Before Jungnickel worked as a lawyer in the field of public commercial law and gained experience as a managing director in the private sector. For the public sector, he was active both in an advisory capacity and in management positions for municipal companies in the supply and disposal industry. The development of the municipal and private economy has always been in the focus of his professional career.

Sebastian Jungnickel was born in Berlin, where he studied law at the Free University of Berlin and passed the second state law examination. He is married and has two grown-up children.
