The basic education center of the adult education center Frankfurt (Oder) invites on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to a celebration of reading.
- Various booths with puzzles and games, readings for children, a story workshop and various performances offer a program for the whole family.
- Music will be played by Emilia and Alma Loichen (horn and trombone) from the Music School Frankfurt (Oder).
- Readings in German and Arabic are planned.
- The Kleist Museum presents a text by Heinrich von Kleist. A special highlight is the reading of the Frankfurt author Maik Altenburg.

The reading picnic is supported by the housing industry Frankfurt (Oder) GmbH, the Miteinander wohnen e.V. with the learning assistance center, the good room of the Lebenshilfe Frankfurt (Oder) e.V., the city and regional library, the Peitzer eight (Wichern Diakonie Frankfurt (Oder) e.V.) and the Kleist Museum as a cooperation partner.
