"Where to put the body?" is the all-dominant question in "Prey", a pitch-black English comedy that can be seen as a guest performance by Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt at Frankfurt's Kleist Forum on April 20.

The eponymous "prey" was taken by friends Harold and Dennis during a bank robbery, but they have to hide it in the coffin of Harold's recently deceased mother while on the run from the police. Her corpse is stored upside down in the closet, but this is by no means the end of the story. Meanwhile, the widower flirts with the deceased's nurse, unaware that she has already eliminated seven husbands and is looking for number eight.

A bitterly wicked, wonderfully incorrect and incredibly funny mixture of crime story and social criticism, in which bourgeois norms and values are deconstructed with relish.
