The German-Polish Tourist Information Centre invites you to experience the twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)-Słubice from a new perspective. From May to October, there are regular public tours of the city as well as a variety of themed tours. The diverse programme is aimed at both visitors and locals who want to rediscover their city.

Classic city tours – every Saturday through the history of the city

Always on Saturdays from 11 a.m., the classic city tours offer an exciting journey through the history of the city – from the Middle Ages to the present day. Participants follow in the footsteps of Heinrich von Kleist, discover important buildings such as St Mary's Church with its unique medieval stained glass windows and learn interesting facts about the development of the twin city. Even long-time Frankfurters can look forward to new insights and surprising stories.

Themed specials – every first Saturday of the month and selected additional dates

On the first Saturday of every month, special themed tours dedicated to selected focal points of the city's history, architecture and culture take place instead of the traditional city tours. Additional themed tours are offered on public holidays or special occasions.

  • 06.06.2026 | 11 a.m.: Observation tower and stadium in Słubice (DE/PL) – history and panorama of the twin city
  • 04.07.2026 | 11 a.m.: In the footsteps of Jewish life in Frankfurt (Oder)
  • 12.07.2026 (Sunday) | 1 p.m.: Frankfurt (Oder) as a Hanseatic city in the Middle Ages – special guided tour of the HanseStadtFest (DE/PL)
  • 01.08.2026 | 11 a.m.: Green Frankfurt (Oder) South Tour – Discover nature and garden art
  • 30.08.2026 (Sunday) | 11 a.m.: Kiessling Buildings and Paulinenhof Estate – Architecture of the 1920s
  • 05.09.2026 | 11 a.m.: Marina-City – Urban development from industrial area to modern residential area
  • 03.10.2026 | 11 a.m.: "Living views" – interactive city walk with the Actionbound app

Some tours are offered bilingually (German/Polish).
Whether it's the city's history, green parks, modern neighbourhoods or cross-border perspectives - the tours show the diversity of the twin city. Expert tour guides convey history vividly and vividly and with many exciting details.
 

Bike tours

In addition, four guided bike tours invite you to actively explore the region.

  • 28.06.2026: Tour to the Preto winery in Stare Biskupice | approx. 4 hours | approx. 25 km
  • 06.09.2026: Plattenbau cycle tour | approx. 2 hours | approx. 8 km
  • 20.09.2026: Urad observation tower tour | approx. 5 hours | approx. 40 km

The tours combine historical insights with nature experiences and also cross the German-Polish border. It is recommended that you bring sufficient drinks and a roadworthy bicycle with you.

Reduced (pensioners, severely disabled): €7.50
Children (up to 16 years old)/pupils/students: €5.00
