The three regional authorities - the district-free city of Frankfurt (Oder), the administrative district of Märkisch-Oderland and the administrative district of Oder-Spree as well as the Euroregion PRO EUROPA VIADRINA have reacted to the increasing interest of investors in the economic region Oderland-Spree by commissioning a regional management to support the "Tesla environment development". Since January 2021, this regional management supports the municipalities, economic development agencies and companies in economic regional development with consulting services, training and workshops as well as the processing of investor inquiries.

The new regional brochure plays a central role in the region's marketing strategy by placing investment-relevant facts in the regional context and presenting the region's economic advantages. In addition to purely economic facts, it also looks at soft location conditions such as the cultural or tourist offerings, the residential landscape and quality of life, which are becoming increasingly important, especially for innovative companies and service providers competing for skilled workers.
