For three years, researchers and students from Lüneburg and Wrocław have been working intensively on the twin city of Frankfurt (Oder) – Słubice. On Wednesday, November 20 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., the research team will present its findings at an information and discussion event at the Viadrina.
Scientists Dr. Iga Kołodyńska (University of Life Sciences Wrocław) and Dr. Sarah Gottwald (Leuphana University of Lüneburg) and their team have gained valuable insights into important places in the twin city through a map-based survey, focus groups and interviews.
The research team's work was supported by the Frankfurt-Słubice Cooperation Center of the City of Frankfurt (Oder), the municipality of Słubice, the European University Viadrina and the Foundation for the Collegium Polonicum, among others.
