In cooperation with the city management, the Frankfurt (Oder) city center merchants' regulars' table invites you to three pre-Christmas activities, where great prizes and surprises await visitors to the city center in addition to a joyful atmosphere.
Nikolaus campaign
By Saturday, December 2, families can hand in a cleaned boot from their children at the German-Polish Tourist Information Office in Frankfurt (Oder). Then it's time to look for the boot! It will be filled with treats and surprises and will be waiting for its owner in the window of one of the participating stores in Karl-Marx-Straße and Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Straße from St. Nicholas Day until 9 December. The second boot must be brought along as a receipt when collecting. The gifts are sponsored by the participating stores and Wohnungswirtschaft Frankfurt (Oder) GmbH.
Showcase competition
From December 1 to 16, visitors to Magistrale and Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Straße can vote for the most beautiful Christmas shop window. The participating stores are identified by a sticker on the shop window. Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH and Stadtradio 91.7 ODERWELLE will raffle off city vouchers worth 20 euros, 30 euros and 40 euros among the voters. Voting takes place in the stores and online at www.oderwelle.de/schaufenster.
Mulled wine route
The traditional mulled wine route will bring an aromatic scent to the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle on Saturday, December 16, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Magistrale, Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Straße and Große Scharrnstraße.
Along the route, in addition to Christmas drinks and delicacies, there will be hands-on activities for young and old and a musical program with Verena de la Caridad. Visitors can vote for the best mulled wine and win city vouchers worth 20, 30 and 40 euros. Part of the proceeds from the sale of mulled wine will be donated to the Seefichten community shelter for homeless people. The city vouchers are sponsored by Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH.
