"Power shift through AI" – first Viadrina Debate

On Wednesday, October 15, 4 p.m., a Viadrina Debate will take place for the first time. The topic of the first edition of the new event series is "Shifting power through AI: Who benefits, who loses?". The panelists are: Prof. Dr. Lena Ulbricht, Professor of Political Science at the University of Hildesheim, Dr. Ulf Buermeyer, lawyer and publicist as well as co-host of the podcast "Lage der Nation" and Prof. Dr. Philipp Hacker, Professor of Law and Ethics of the Digital Society at Viadrina.

The event is the central kick-off of the winter semester 2025/26. The discussion will be simultaneously translated into English. Following the Viadrina Debate, the European University invites you to exchange ideas over a drink.
