Pollutant mobile on tour in Frankfurt (Oder)

From Monday, September 4 to Saturday, September 9, 2023 is the pollutant mobile in Frankfurt (Oder) on the road. Residence-independent, all citizens of the city can visit its sites.

What can be delivered to the pollutant mobile?

• Pesticides, pesticides and fertilizers, developer and fixing baths, chemicals from home and laboratory, batteries, aerosol cans, PU foam cans, paint and varnish residues, liquid adhesives and glues, putty and filler, solvent residues, tar and oil residues, wood preservatives, fluorescent tubes and energy-saving lamps, toner cartridges, disinfectants, old medicines (tablets, ointments or drops) and fire extinguishers.
• Liquids and loose substances are to be delivered in sealed and labeled containers (if different from the original contents). Different pollutants are not to be mixed with each other. Unpredictable reactions could occur in the process.
• Hazardous waste is to be delivered only in household quantities of no more than 20 kilograms. The acceptance of the waste is only after the arrival of the respective site. Waste deposited in advance and afterwards will not be collected by the hazardous waste mobile. It is then an illegal deposit, which can be punished with warnings or fines.

Outside the specified dates or in the case of larger quantities, disposal is possible at the company Becker & Armbrust GmbH, Tobias-Magirus-Straße 100, 15236 Frankfurt (Oder) - Markendorf.

Old car batteries can be delivered free of charge all year round to the recycling yard landfill Seefichten, Grubenstraße 10 (opening hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m., Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.).

Empty spray cans and empty paint containers with the "Green Dot" are to be disposed of in the yellow garbage can, dried-out paint residues in the black or residual waste garbage can.
