As part of the ongoing planning for the redesign of the Magistrale, the city administration is inviting the public to a total of six public workshops. The aim is to gather the needs and wishes of the public and at the same time create an opportunity for an exchange with the planning office and the specialist departments. The results of the workshops will be successively incorporated into the planning process.

The first workshop will take place on:

Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at BLOK O

The topic of this workshop is the usage requirements for the Magistrale. The focal points include outdoor areas for stores, places to linger, lighting and advertising. The ideas, suggestions and wishes of local businesses, residents and visitors to the Magistrale will be collected and discussed. In addition to the city administration, the commissioned planning office Neumann Gusenburger will also be represented.

Four further public workshops will follow in the first half of 2024, covering the following topics:

  • Transport/mobility/accessibility
  • Technical infrastructure/archaeology
  • Trees/green spaces/microclimate and
  • Equipment/art/lighting/information system

These different thematic focuses are intended to shed light on as many planning aspects as possible. The overall concept will then be presented in the sixth workshop. Further dates will be announced in good time.
